Tungsten carbide is widely used as a material for various processing tools in industrial production due to its high hardness and wear resistance, which is called "the teeth of industry". Like carbide drill bit is a common equipment for drilling engineering, Hunan Jetvision shares the classification and advantages of carbide drill bit.

As we all know, the correct choice of carbide drill bit is very helpful to improve the drilling productivity and reduce the cost per hole processing. There are four types of carbide bits commonly used in life, they are integral carbide bits, carbide indexable insert bits, welded carbide bits and replaceable bit carbide bits. Each type of drill has the benefit of being suitable for specific processing prerequisites, so what advantages do each of the different carbide types have?

Integral carbide drill, as a drill with centering function, has a full range of types, can be processed corresponding to deep holes, has the advantages of higher processing accuracy and can be resharpened and reused, generally can be resharpened 7 to 10 times. In the process of processing, it can reduce our processing cost.

In contrast, carbide indexable insert drill is a discarded insert without centering function, which has the advantages of lower cost, wider range of correspondence, and rich variety. The drill with carbide indexable inserts can process a wide range of hole diameters, and the processing depth scale is from 2D to 5D (D is the hole diameter), which can be applied to lathes and other torsional processing machines. The disadvantage is that the machining accuracy of this drill is relatively low.

The welded carbide drill is made by firmly welding a carbide tooth crown to a steel drill body. It has a self-centering geometry with low cutting forces and the drill can be resharpened 3 to 4 times. Its main advantage is the ability to achieve good chip control, good surface finish of the machined hole, and good dimensional and positioning accuracy. The main applications are in machining centers, CNC lathes or other high rigidity, high speed machines.

The interchangeable head carbide has centering function and a wide range of types, and the same toolholder can also be fitted with a variety of diameters, which can correspond to different machining materials. In addition, the machining efficiency is also remarkable and the machining accuracy is relatively high. When processing steel material, its steel drill body can change the tooth crown at least 20 to 30 times, which can effectively reduce the production cost.

In actual production, when high speed drilling processing is carried out, a drill with self-centering function is required for accuracy and efficiency. In addition to the centering function, the accuracy of the integral carbide drill and the replaceable carbide drill is also high, generally reaching the grade of IT6-IT9. So, this is the time we will choose the integral carbide drill and the replaceable carbide drill. And between the two, the rigidity of the integral carbide drill bit is more superior.

Hunan Jetvision is a modern enterprise dedicated to the research and development, production and sales of "high quality carbide" series products. We mainly deal with cemented carbide ground products, such as cemented carbidebutton and other products.
