Tungsten carbide is an alloy material made from hard compounds of refractory metals and bonded metals through a powder metallurgical process. Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance
Class P:
Cemented carbide, the cutting range of Class P products refers to carbon steel, cast steel, including 0.25-0.25%C quenched and tempered, easy to cut steel contains annealed and quenched and tempered, low carbon alloy steel containing less than 5% of gold elements range, high carbon alloy steel cast iron and tool steel which contains annealed and quenched and tempered series.
Type M:
Smaller range in type M, stainless steels of which materials are ferritic/martensitic, cast steels containing martensitic, austenitic.
Type K:
Carbide hardness in the K type cutting range of ferritic, pearlitic grey cast iron, ductile iron, pearlitic ferritic forgeable cast iron.
Class N:
Class N refers to uncured aluminium, refined alloys, foundry alloys, copper alloys containing easy-to-cut steel, brass, electrolytic copper.
Class S:
Class S refers to iron based high temperature alloys, superalloys containing nickel based, cobalt based; titanium based, titanium alloy type.
Class H:
Class H refers to inserts cutting hardness range in hardened hardened steel, cast chilled cast iron, hardened cast iron, etc.
